Defending a Sex-Crime Case
Possible defenses may involve consent by a mentally capable adult, mistaken identity supported by DNA or alibi evidence, insufficient proof, unreliable digital evidence, inconsistent accounts, or the Romeo-and-Juliet defense when legally applicable to consenting adolescents no more than four years apart.
Our attorneys prepare to protect both the criminal case and the client’s reputation while requiring the State to prove every element beyond a reasonable doubt.
