Criminal Defense
A charge doesn’t wait for a verdict to wreck your life. It’s already online. Your employer already knows. So does your family. That’s the part no one warns you about — the damage starts the day the paperwork is filed, long before anyone proves a thing.
That’s where we go to work. We take apart how the case was built: a bad stop, a search that shouldn’t have happened, a report written to fit a conclusion, an officer who shaded what really happened. We make the State prove every element, the right way — or not at all.
We defend charges including OWI (operating while intoxicated), battery and domestic battery, theft, drug possession and dealing, and felony charges at every level.

Family Law & Divorce
When a marriage ends, what you stand to lose isn’t abstract. Your kids. Your house. Your money. And there’s a second fear people don’t say out loud: being painted as the villain in front of a judge who decides where your children sleep.
We keep the fight where it helps you — on the case and the stakes. We protect your time with your kids, your share of what you built, and your side of the record, and we make the other side prove every point they put in front of the court. What we don’t do is turn your co-parent into a target. A judge is watching how you conduct yourself, and we make sure that works for you, not against you.
We handle dissolution of marriage, legal and physical custody, parenting time under the Indiana Parenting Time Guidelines, child support, modifications, and protective orders.

Personal Injury
Someone else’s carelessness put you here, and now you’re the one with the medical bills, the missed paychecks, and an insurance company that would like you to settle fast and quiet.
We don’t. We build the case, document the harm, and make them account for what their conduct actually cost you. Indiana law bars recovery if you’re found more than 50% at fault, so the other side will try to pin as much of it on you as they can. We make them prove their share — every inch.

Mediation
Not every case should be a war, and not every dollar spent fighting comes back. Both of our founders serve as mediators, which means we know when a matter is better resolved across a table than in front of a jury — and we understand how the other side thinks, because we’ve done their job too.
As a neutral, our role changes: we don’t pick a side. We help both parties reach an agreement they can actually live with.
Traffic & License Issues
A traffic case can affect far more than the price of a ticket. Points, insurance increases, license suspension, habitual traffic violator findings, and criminal allegations can threaten your ability to work and handle daily responsibilities.
Custom Law represents Indiana drivers facing speeding and other moving violations, reckless or aggressive driving allegations, suspension matters, and related license consequences. We review the stop, the evidence, your driving record, and the available path for protecting your license and record.
Discuss your traffic or license matter with Custom Law.
Expungement
An old arrest or conviction can continue to affect employment, housing, licensing, and other opportunities long after the case ended. Indiana’s Second Chance Law allows eligible records to be expunged or sealed under Indiana Code §35-38-9.
Custom Law evaluates eligibility, waiting periods, filing requirements, and the records that may be addressed. We prepare the petition and supporting materials and guide clients through the court process toward a clearer record and a genuine second chance.
Ask whether your Indiana record may qualify for expungement.
Understanding Your Options
Every case here is different — the facts, the county, the other side, and the law that applies. This page is an overview, not advice about your situation. If you’re facing any of it, the move is simple: talk to us before you talk to anyone else.
